US Labor Secretary Hilda Solis speaks for Joe Garcia

Joe Garcia’s campaign is bursting with enthusiasm in this last stretch to the primary on Aug. 24, and US Labor Secretary Hilda Solis was in town on Saturday to boost Joe’s drive.

Joe’s message: Time to step up and help. He called for volunteers to report to his campaign office and be willing to give time in canvassing and phone banking.

The room at Miami-Dade College (Kendall) was packed with union members and other supporters, and many then went out with fresh Joe Garcia T-shirts to canvass in the district.
